This beginners' tour leads from the hiking hut of the Oberwolfach Black Forest Association at the Kreuzsattel (open on Sundays and public holidays from May to October) around the Regeleskopf. It runs through shady fir and mixed forests and is particularly suitable for the warmer months of the year. The Kreuzsattel is not accessible in snow and icy conditions as the access road is not cleared.
