People have dreamt of flying since time immemorial, and in Rickenbach they have the chance to make that dream a reality. Hang-gliders and paragliders take off into the valley below from the Heue launch site. On Sundays and bank holidays, those who are interested can take a brief excursion into the third dimension as the ‘co-pilot’ of a two-seater. The Heue launch site is accessed from the Bergalingen sports ground (plenty of parking spaces are available); from here, walk alongside the power lines in a westerly direction for around five minutes.
