Half-timbered houses, rafting, a lively history and picturesque squares await visitors to the small town of Schiltach. The town has always cherished its traditions and cultural treasures, such as the rafting and sawing trades or the exhibits in the numerous museums, and is delighted to present these to its guests. Schiltach lies at the confluence of the Schiltach and Kinzig rivers, surrounded by wooded slopes. It is a wonderful place to discover nature, as Schiltach not only offers hiking and cycling trails, but is also the gateway to the Black Forest Centre/North Nature Park. There are many charming places to discover in and around the town.
