The Black Forest Railway Experience Trail introduces hikers and railway fans to the history of the construction and ongoing operation of the Black Forest Railway between Hornberg, Triberg and St. Georgen. Visitors experience the eventful and exciting history of the Black Forest railway with its numerous tunnels and hairpin bends on a charming panoramic route, which is told and vividly illustrated using vivid examples.
The adventure trail is divided into two tours, which can also be combined. The start and end point is Triberg railway station, where an old steam locomotive can be admired. There are 16 stops along the way, equipped with original railway material, which deal with the construction and technology of the Black Forest Railway.
