From Seibelseckle, the gourmet tour leads under the viaduct of the Black Forest High Road and through the Lenderswald forest, past sky loungers with views to Seebach and the Rhine Valley and finally uphill to the legendary Mummelsee lake with its beautiful mountain hotel. After circling the lake and stopping for refreshments or a break on the shore, the route leads over the Katzenkopf and magnificent views up to the Hornisgrinde. At the top, the Grinde hut invites you to stop for refreshments or to climb the viewing towers. A special feature awaits the hiker with the boardwalk over the protected high moor and views of the Biberkessel and unspoilt wide forest landscapes. After passing the Dreifürstenstein (a magnificent slab of sandstone on which the borders between the Margraviate of Baden, the Duchy of Württemberg and the Prince-Bishopric of Strasbourg were established in 1722), a narrow, steep path leads back to the Seibelseckle, where you can stop for refreshments.
