Stadtrundgang Bühl

The weekly market takes place on the church and market square, the starting point of the tour, on Mondays and Saturdays. The square is dominated by two church buildings: the Catholic parish church of St Peter and Paul with its 63 metre high openwork tower and the town hall, which served as a church until 1877. The route continues along the Bühlot stream through the picturesque Sonnengasse to Schwanenstraße with the town museum. Via the lively Johannesplatz square, you reach the oldest part of the town, Hänferdorf, where you can still find some half-timbered houses that are several hundred years old. On the other side of the main street is Bühl's cultural centre with the media library and the Neuer Markt community centre. Finally, it is worth taking a break in the town garden.
