Here the Steinach becomes a real experience. Everywhere you hear the water rushing, seating stones invite you to stay, and those who want can cross the stream on large stepping stones or cool their feet in the water. Nature and water can be experienced up close here.
The stream experience trail is divided into around 20 stations, where information boards explain landscape-ecological contexts, flora and fauna, and the rich animal world in this area.
Other special features are the springs emerging at the beginning of the trail, whose water is guided via newly constructed cascades to a former mill canal. This historic canal has been uncovered again on a section. A water wheel recalls the long mill tradition in Iselshausen.
The path is not suitable for strollers.
