In the Lounge Chair Atelier, you can follow the handcrafted perfection of the Vitra classic by Charles and Ray Eames, while the VitraHaus, Vitra's flagship store, offers inspiration for your own home.
The Vitra Campus brings together the commercial and cultural aspects of the Swiss furniture manufacturer Vitra, which was founded in 1934 by Willi Fehlbaum. Production was relocated from Birsfelden (CH) to Weil am Rhein (DE) in 1950 and when a fire destroyed most of the production space in 1981, the second generation of the owner-managed company took the opportunity to rebuild with renowned architects.
