From Kurhaus Dobel, the trail leads past the Dobel viewing tower, always below the ridge line, to Weithäusleplatz. The route continues with beautiful views along the Schweizerkopf to the Hahnenfalzhütte. From there to the Langmartshütte where you reach the Kaltenbronn plateau. With marvellous views of the Murg Valley, the Wetsweg trail continues to the Kreuzlehütte (devil's grave). You soon reach Kaltenbronn, which was once the recreational and hunting grounds of Grand Duke Friedrich I. Today it is also home to the Kaltenbronn information centre with changing natural history exhibitions. The path leads up to the Hohloh Moor and along the boardwalk to the Hohloh Tower, which was built by the Black Forest Association in 1897 as the Kaiser Wilhelm Tower. Here you can enjoy sweeping panoramic views. From the Prinzenhütte, the trail descends steeply to the viewing platform on the Latschigfelsen rock. Above Gausbach, you cross the Heuhüttental valley and descend along the Bruckwald forest to the end of the stage - the wooden bridge at Forbach railway station.
