The romantic path leads around the idyllic Waldhufendorf Oberlengenhardt. It is mainly aimed at leisure hikers and walkers who want to be delighted by natural paths, rest stops, and beautiful natural spectacles. Over natural root paths, wide meadows with fantastic views, and through dense forests, the route passes some 100 meters of altitude gain at the most beautiful spots in and around Oberlengenhardt. At the end of March 2018, the Zollernblickweg was certified by the German Hiking Institute as the first premium walking route in the Calw district. The trail was officially opened on April 15, 2018. Wegbeschreibung
The premium walking route around the idyllic village of Oberlengenhardt starts at the Schützenhaus. A romantic path leads us through a small forest up to the forest edge with a beautiful view of the Waldhufendorf. After about three hundred meters, the route continues on a grassy path over the open field up to the main road, which we follow out of town to the intersection. Here we follow the bike path towards Schömberg for about fifty meters and then cross the district road to the water reservoir. Now the path leads along beautiful trails to a forest meadow. Upon arriving there, we turn right and follow the lane to the end of the meadow. Just behind the bench, a path leads us on the left along the meadow, through a forest to another large "wild meadow." At the crossroads, we keep left and then immediately turn right onto a narrow trail to immerse ourselves in the enchanted fir forest. Following slightly wider paths, we follow the marking to the road, which we cross. After another four hundred meters, we turn right and soon reach the highlight of our premium walking route, the "Zollernblick," with a magnificent view to the Swabian Alb. The route continues along the forest edge to the "Himmelsliege," which invites you to relax. Immediately afterwards, a small path leads us back into the forest. We follow the marking along a forest road, along the forest edge, to the country road and cross it. The marking guides us to our next destination, the Oberlengenhardt cemetery. We hike a short distance through the village, past the Landgasthof Ochsen, and soon we are back in nature. After about twenty minutes on a meadow path, through private woods and along a forest edge, we reach the venerable boundary stone from the year 1872. There we turn sharply right onto a dirt road and follow the marking until we meet the access road to the Schützenhaus and have our goal in sight.
