On the Hörnleberg, which separates the Elz and Simonswäldertal valleys, stands the famous pilgrimage church "Unsere liebe Frau am Hörnleberg". Hikers regularly make a pilgrimage to the mountain, which offers a marvellous view. The way back leads along the wild and romantic waterfalls of the Haslachsimonswälder stream back to Simonswald.
