Zur Wanderhütte Sattelei und rund um den Rinkenberg

From the railway station, turn left along the pavement of Freudenstädter Straße to the Kronenbrücke bridge at Hotel Krone. Crossing the road, continue in the direction of Dorfsägmühle and along the Schelklewiesen meadows to the caravan park. The path runs past the Neumühle site in the direction of Schiefelgasse. Cross Murgtalstraße at the zebra crossing and walk straight ahead and uphill along Häslergasse, past the Oberer Häslergasse, Rappenhof and Rainbauerngasse sites to the Rinkenteich pond. There you have a wonderful view over the Tonbach valley. Now follow the Rinkenteich road straight ahead to the Kohlweg car park. From the Kohlwegrank car park, the hiking signs lead you to the Sattelei hiking hut for a cosy break.

From the Sattelei hikers' hut, the trail leads downhill to the Labbronnen car park. From here, with a beautiful panoramic view of Mitteltal and Baiersbronn, turn left onto the Sommerseitenweg to Häslergasse. Follow Häslergasse downhill and across the Schelklewiesen meadows to the starting point.
