Augenblick route Schiltach Schlossberg

The Nature Park Augenblick route starts at the Häberlesbrücke near Schiltach Mitte station and initially follows the Kinzig to the Schenkenburg with a great view of the Kinzig loop. Over the Winterhaldenhof, it steadily climbs up to the impressive Roman excavations at Brandsteig. At the top, we follow the Ostweg for a stretch, with panoramic views both into the Kinzig valley and towards Aichhalden and Schramberg. The Schwenkenhof invites you to rest before mostly following paths back towards Schiltach. From the Augenblick near the castle ruins on the Schlossberg, you have a wonderful view of Schiltach and the Kinzig valley. It then goes downhill back to the starting point through the historic old town with various places to stop for refreshments.
