St Augustine's Chapel was built in 1964 in memory of Cardinal Augustin Bea, who was born in nearby Riedböhringen

Fürstenberg Castle

Fürstenberg Castle is a ruined hilltop castle on the Fürstenberg mountain. When the entire town, including the castle on the summit plateau, was destroyed in a catastrophic fire in 1841, the new town of Fürstenberg, now a district of Hüfingen, was built at the foot of the mountain.

In 1964, St Augustine's Chapel was built on the site of the castle.
