The German Weather Service has set up weather boards on the mountain. Relax on the lawn or get your blood flowing with a walk through the water treading basin.
Climbing the 25m high Herzog-Friedrich-Turm is highly recommended, as it offers a wonderful panoramic view of Freudenstadt, the Swabian Alps and the extensive forests and ridges of the Black Forest (open May to October).
Especially for hobby gardeners: Germany's highest rose path, with over 1000 wild roses and historical shrub roses (blooming period mid-June to mid-July). Be enchanted by the variety and beauty of the roses and enjoy the wonderful view over Freudenstadt, as well as the vast forests of the northern Black Forest.
