Climbing the 25m high Herzog-Friedrich-Turm is highly recommended, as it offers a wonderful panoramic view of Freudenstadt, the Swabian Alps and the extensive forests and ridges of the Black Forest (open May to October).
Especially for hobby gardeners: Germany's highest rose path, with over 1000 wild roses and historical shrub roses (blooming period mid-June to mid-July).
