Gutenbergplatz is a popular square in the west of Karlsruhe with a variety of shops and restaurants. Here, Karlsruhe's oldest and loveliest weekly market takes place every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 7.30am. The square invites you to drink coffee and stay for a while. Two notable eye-catchers are the Krautkopf and pelican fountain.
Every year there is also a small festival called the Lime Blossom Festival.
