In Schönwald, you can hike and enjoy the fresh air on three signposted healing climate trails with different levels of difficulty.
Author's recommendation
The plastic covered ski jumps (at km 2.5) offer children and young people in the region ideal year-round training opportunities - this is where future World-champions and Olympic-champions are born.
Directions
From the tourist information office, the path leads uphill towards "St. Martin's" Chapel. This is the only ascent worth mentioning. Following the main path, you cross a large, flat open space. At the small refuge, the path turns right, past the mountain station of the "Rössle" ski lift. Shortly before the ski hut at the "Pfälzer-Eck", the path branches off to the right in the direction of the "Adlersprungschanze". From there, return to the starting point. Follow the signs for "Heilklimaweg 1".
Equipment
Hiking boots, clothing suitable for the weather, drinks and backpack meals are recommended for all tours.
