The "Hochempor" climbing forest is the ideal excursion destination for young and old who want to be a little more active and airy. Situated by an idyllic mountain lake, it also offers a wonderful natural backdrop in the middle of the Hotzenwald.

The Hochempor climbing forest welcomes visitors to the Bergsee in Bad Säckingen.

The forest ropes course offers a total of 7 courses with different levels of difficulty, ranging from 4.5 metres to 16 metres in height, allowing you to experience the forest in a whole new way. This makes it an experience for the whole family, clubs and companies. Enjoy a few hours in the high treetops of the Hotzenwald in one of the most beautiful natural areas of the High Rhine. Experience the idyllic natural scenery at the mountain lake from a completely new perspective - namely from above and with exciting obstacles to overcome. Progress from the easy to the difficult courses and learn new skills. Visitors are welcome from the age of 6. From 6-9 years, an adult is required to accompany them.

Depending on your mood, the leisure programme can be supplemented by the adjacent wildlife enclosure, a pedalo trip on the mountain lake or the barefoot path.

Parking is available in the large car park above the mountain lake restaurant.
