Kirche St. Michael

The Old Church of St Michael was built between 1479 and 1482. The original building dates back to the 12th century. Inside the church, the crescent moon Madonna and colourful frescoes from different eras can be seen. St Michael's Church is the only large vaulted building from the Middle Ages to be found in the Markgräflerland region.

Organ music

From May, organ music takes place every Saturday at market time. Listeners enjoy organ music in a relaxed atmosphere with coffee and cake.

Alamannic origins

During renovation work on the old St Michael's Church, graves were found under the current church floor, but these were closed again.

Guided tours of the church on various themes take place on Sundays from May to September.
