The Mehliskopf is a mountain in the northern Black Forest. It lies above the Schwarzwaldhochstrasse, between Sand and Hundseck. The tower is not very high and is located on the western edge of the summit plateau. The Mehliskopfturm was built in 1880 by the Black Forest Association and has been renovated several times since then. It consists of a stone base with a wooden, roofed viewing platform and offers a beautiful view of the Rhine Valley and the peaks of the northern Black Forest. The viewing tower is freely accessible.
