The Nagold dam is one of the largest in Baden-Württemberg and therefore offers a variety of water sports. Windsurfing is particularly popular. The beautiful and flat lake circuit is ideal for inline skaters. New: water playground with kingfisher trail.

The dam is located in the Upper Nagold Valley and is surrounded by a 650-hectare nature reserve. There are many car parks along the Nagold reservoir; some also have barbecue areas. There is a viewing tower at the information pavilion which offers a fantastic view over the lake and the reed beds and reed beds, which are alive with water birds. Various guided tours are offered.
