Look, marvel, let off steam & experiment with Hademar Waldwichtel

A forest walk with an "aha" effect awaits day and holiday guests in Oberharmersbach. The approximately 2 km long nature adventure trail offers a playful and entertaining search for clues through nature at the Oberharmersbach Katzenhalde (the name of the area where the trail is located).

Clear information boards explain interesting facts about the animal and plant world in short, easy-to-understand texts. Creatively designed stations arouse curiosity and give children of all ages plenty of room to play between thirst for knowledge and imagination. Adults are also invited to look, marvel and experiment .

Get your Hademar diploma
A flyer with 11 quiz questions is available at the tourist information centre. Anyone who answers all of them correctly and enters the solution word at www.hademar-waldwichtel.de can print out their personal Hademar diploma as a reward.

Postman Hademar
The Oberharmersbach Tourist Information Centre has a special Hademar postcard (1.10 euros / card - postage included), which you can put unstamped in the postbag of postman Hademar with a message of love to friends or family. He will then take care of the delivery.

Environmental education
The nature school's forest classroom is the starting point for environmental education programmes for kindergartens and schools. In the nature encyclopaedia you will find detailed information and diagrams on many interesting teaching topics. It's also a great place for a short picnic break!

The car park, starting and finishing point is at the Oberharmersbach tourist information centre. You can also obtain the information flyer (multilingual) and the information boards in French and English there.

The trail is freely accessible and free of charge.
