The Oberschopfheim winegrowers' cooperative was founded and registered in 1968. The 1st chairman of the Oberschopfheim winegrowers' cooperative was Rudolf Gissler.
1999 was the merger with the vintners from Hohberg. Also the old town hall was acquired and rebuilt to a wine yard, the so called "Winzerhüs".
With the opening of the new "Winzerhüs" on April 08, 2000, the prerequisites for the entry into partial self-marketing were fulfilled.
Now separately delivered grape quantities (about 1/4) could be bottled according to varieties and development wishes, especially for the Winzergonssenschaft Oberschopfheim. This type of wine marketing naturally also involves a certain risk, since the vinified wines must also be marketed. In retrospect, the start of partial self-marketing was the right decision, which is confirmed by several gold medals from the Baden Winegrowers' Association to golden prizes from the DLG.
In 2008, the refrigerated container was replaced by a new wine warehouse.
