The waterfalls are located in the Karlsruher Grat nature reserve. It is worth following the approx. 1.4 km long path through the waterfalls (approx. 180 metres in altitude). Once you reach the upper end of the Gottschlägtal valley, a drinking fountain invites you to take a break.
If you want to hike further, you can take the Karlsruher Grat via ferrata to the Bosensteiner Eck and then continue via the Brennte Schrofen (marvellous views!) back to the starting point.
The waterfalls are just a few steps from the hiking car park (signposted). They are also located directly on the Karlsruher Grat premium hiking trail. If you are travelling by train (Ottenhöfen station in the Black Forest), you can walk about 2 km directly to the start of the waterfalls.
