Trail description Panorama Rock Trail
We start the hike at the signpost location "Oberried Adler". From there we follow the hiking sign "Qualitätsweg" and the "Gelbe Raute" along the entire route. At the signpost locations along the way, the additional signposts "Panorama-Felsenweg" guide us with information about the distance to the next "Nahziel" and the final destination "Hohe Brücke".
After crossing the road, we turn left after only a few meters into the settlement and hike through it to the location "Wehrlehof".
From there it goes with a meadow path, a little up the hill until we reach the panoramic path. This leads us to the left until the turnoff at the house Sandmann. There, after a short stretch of asphalt, we follow the natural path to the right until we reach the location "Brendenwaldweg".
Here we continue to hike to the right on a forest path, without major inclines to the location "Beginning Felsenweg". From this location we now walk on a rocky, challenging path, past the climbing rocks "Buuretürmle" and the "Räuberfelsen" and a footbridge uphill to the location "Gfällmatte" . After about 200m on asphalt we reach the highest point of the hike with 1000m above sea level.
(according to old Black Forest tradition the "DU" is valid from this height).
We turn right here onto the Georg Maier Weg and follow it for a good 800m until we reach the fork to the right, onto a short path down to the "Kleiner Luchsfelsen" site.
Now we continue downhill into the St. Wilhelm valley. Shortly before reaching the bottom of the valley, we pass the two signpost locations "Unterm Rappenfelsen" and "Holzmacherhäusle" and after only a few meters we reach the Wilhelmitenpfad.
On the Wilhelmitenpfad we then pass the signpost locations "St.Wilhelm Altes Schulhaus" and "Hohebruckmättle" to the destination of the hike "Hohe Brücke".
Here you can stop for refreshments at the "Holzfällerstube" inn or take the bus back to the starting point "Oberried Adler".
If you like, you can also hike back to Oberried with the yellow rhombus and the Wilhelmitenpfad.
The path runs for about 500m along the L 126.
