Experience a healing climate in a class of its own on the Schönwald "Heilklima-Steig" trail. The trail runs for almost 11 kilometers on idyllic paths over mountains and valleys along the climate zones.

Forest bathing on the Heilklima-Steig - enjoy the green cure. Relax loungers invite you to bathe in the forest and sun. You should therefore plan more than the 4.5 hours.
Directions
From Schönwald town hall, take Keplerweg, continue along Josefsweg and Steinweiher to Halde. Follow the signs along the edge of the forest uphill to the Adlersprungschanze. After the Jugendschanzen, you follow a narrow path through an almost fairytale-like forest to the Auf der Höh sunbathing station. Relaxation loungers invite you to linger here.
Meadow and forest paths take you over the Katharinenhöhe to the Himmelswiese with a view of Schönwald. To the right, again in the direction of Katharinenhöhe, you walk across the Reinerweiher pond to Escheck. The Schwarzwaldpatisserie Löwen and the Gasthof Kreuz invite you to take a break here. On the high-level trail with fantastic views, you reach the Basler valley via Schaiben. Follow the meadow path uphill to the Ochsenhöhe with panoramic views of Schönwald. The trail leads you along an old path to the Dobel ski lift and finally, past the water treading area, back to the starting point.

Safety information
The Heilklima-Steig is not suitable for baby carriages, but can be walked with children if they are sure-footed.
