The Roman bath ruins in Hüfingen are considered to be one of the oldest fort baths north of the Alps. The protective structure of the bath ruins from the early 19th century is itself a monument of historical preservation. The Roman Empire has left its mark in many places in Germany.

Far away from mobile phones and expensive cars, embark on a journey back in time 70 years after Christ and experience first-hand how the Romans lived back then. On a tour of the Roman bath ruins, you can experience the history of the ancient bathing culture, with a historical background - and yet packaged in a fascinating and interesting way.

Today, the now extensively restored Roman baths bear witness to this. It was originally built for the soldiers who occupied the Limes.

Elke Menner offers archaeological and activity-based tours of the Roman bath ruins for (school) groups, as well as costume tours by Martina Schulz. Travel back in time to the ancient Romans! In the Roman pavilion opposite, you can watch the information film "How the Romans lived back then" over a cup of coffee or buy a small souvenir from the Roman shop.
