Why do I offer guided tours? The forests of the northern Black Forest invite you to experience nature in many different ways. There are the obvious but unknown natural phenomena and the well-known but hidden natural beauties. I would like to invite interested visitors to both. Many connections, such as geology and flora, can easily be discovered on site during a guided hike. But I also look forward to the special encounters with my participants.
What is special about my tours? As a nature educator, I know many plants and tree fruits, which I like to pass on to my participants as culinary surprises when the opportunity arises. A love of nature can also go through the stomach. During my excursions, I like to point out the hidden or unnoticed specialities along the way. Once you get to know them, new worlds can open up.
What are my favourite places? Richly mossy ravine forests where the trees are covered in lichen. The babbling brook in the ravine forest or the quiet forest with spicy, resin-rich air and lots of mushrooms. I also particularly like sunny, fragrant herb meadows with the buzzing of insects and places with views that make you forget all the effort.
What is my favourite experience during a tour? I feel a sense of achievement when I can give my participants a few carefree hours with surprising nature experiences away from the daily hustle and bustle or monotony.
