Honest and down-to-earth is Bernd Maier's motto. Together with his team, he conjures up dishes every day using only market-fresh produce. The classics of the house are sour or roasted Leberle with Brägele, fine Rahmschnitzele of milk-fed veal with homemade spaetzle and the game dish "Hubertus". The menu is adapted daily to what is available at the market, the forestry office or from the farmer and offers a solid cross-section of Baden cuisine alongside seasonal fresh produce such as chanterelles and asparagus. Vegetarians are also catered for and are spoilt for choice with different dishes every day.
