Popular excursion destination for young and old

The small, privately run petting zoo in Kappel can be visited free of charge and is a popular local excursion destination.

Children in particular get their money's worth in the petting enclosure and feeding the donkeys, goats, sheep and waterfowl.

Parakeets, pheasants and other ornamental birds live in the aviaries. There are also horses, cattle, chickens and all kinds of waterfowl on the pond.
