The Stubenfels is a mighty group of rocks consisting of several large boulders. Stratigraphically, the rocks can be placed in the upper scree horizon of the Middle Bunter Sandstone. The rocks show overhangs and cave-like niches. Very good oblique stratification cycles have been developed on the walls. (Source: LUBW)
