The route includes several stops. You have the option of booking a round trip or a single trip. The tour begins at Unteren Marktplatz next to the town church. We continue through the city towards the outskirts of town, passing shops and promenades. You can disembark at the Lauferbrunnen hiking car park. From here you can reach various hiking trails, for example to the Großvatertanne (Grandfather Fir). It continues through the forest to the Kienberg, where you have the opportunity to linger and rest. From here you can climb the Friedrichsturm and enjoy a great view of the whole city. Nearby, there is also a miniature golf course. The train continues down past the city park, through the city again and back to the market square.
The first ride begins at 10am on the lower market square next to the town church. The train runs every 40-45 minutes and has a lunch break from 12-1pm. The last ride from the town church is at 4.35pm.
Round trips run from May to mid-October. No scheduled trips occur during thunderstorms and heavy rain, or during group bookings.
