The Michael Mattmüller family's "Weingut Sonnenhof" is located on the southernmost slopes of the Kaiserstuhl. The neighbouring winegrowing village of Ihringen is known as the warmest place in Germany. Our family has been growing wine for three generations. We combine the pursuit of first-class wines with decades of experience and great personal commitment. The deliberately reduced yield of the vines as the basis for high-quality grapes corresponds to our quality philosophy: quality instead of quantity.
