Weitinger Energielehrpfad

From the sports field, the path leads to the photovoltaic system (1), then on to the Vees family farm, which has several biogas plants (2). A detour leads to the wind turbine (3). On the hike from the Weitingen plateau, across Weitingen and then parallel to the A 81 motorway down to the solar park (4) and then down into the Neckar valley. Along the way, you can enjoy marvellous views of Hohenzollern Castle and the Swabian Alb. From the hydroelectric power station at the Weitinger Mühle (5), the route runs parallel to the state road 360 back to Weitingen.
