Of course you go to the weekly market to fill your basket with fresh, regional fruit and vegetables. But there's more to it than that: strolling through one of Lörrach's weekly markets is an experience in itself.

Here you can see, smell and taste the connection with nature. Here, the market woman will put cherries and apricots in your basket and tell you how long you can still bake "Chrisiplotzer" this season. This is a great place to meet up and have an espresso in a café afterwards.

The well-stocked stalls offer a colourful range of regional products: you won't just find fruit, vegetables and eggs here - conventional and organic. Plus speciality stands with international delicacies, cut flowers, flower arrangements, open-air roses and award-winning regional organic honey.
