Situated in the Black Forest biosphere reserve at an altitude of around 1000 metres, the Goldenhof is a worthwhile excursion destination with its organic farming, educational use concept and varied terrain.
Beekeeping is practised here in a variety of different ways. The ecological importance of beekeeping in the context of man and nature as well as the favourable local conditions led to the establishment of the Zeidlerpfad, which offers information on the practice and history of beekeeping along beautiful and scenic sections of the trail.
There are four illustrative information stations.
If you are walking with small children, an all-terrain pushchair is recommended, but a back carrier is certainly better.
